Wall sanders are useful for achieving a flat surface before applying another coat of plaster or painting. While these are most often used for sanding plastered surfaces like walls and ceilings, they can also be used for sanding wood and other materials. Wall sandpaper should be used carefully; it should be the right grade for the surface being smoothed.
