These slash point screws and washers are often used for roofing since they are great at securing sheet metal which is up to 0.8mm thick to timber framing.

The single slash point of these hex head roofing screws enables installatiion much closer to the edge of the timber boards with significantly less risk of the wood splitting.
A patented multi-layer silver organic plating ensures that these slash point screws will withstand the challenges of the great outdoors since the corrosion resistant finish has been rigourusly tested to prove that it will survive more than 500 hours of salt spray which would usually accelerate rust.
The 60° deep single thread creates plenty of pull out resistance without over-splicing the fibres of rough sawn timber which maintains its structural strength.
Using the EPDM washer with these slash point screws prevents water ingress resulting in longer lasting timber boards due to a reduced chance of water damage.
