Mafell KSS 40 18M bl PURE Cordless Cross-Cutting Saw (No Battery)
You don't simply get a saw when you get a Mafell KSS 40 18 M BL; the saw comes in a sleek T-Max systainer for secure transit. This remarkable toolbox conceals no fewer than five distinct saws. A full cross-cutting saw, the KSS 40 has it all. When you take the saw out of the box, you immediately understand how it functions. The saw's rail is equipped with two stops: a zero-degree stop on the right and a bevel of sixty degrees forward and forty-five degrees back on the left. If you set the bevel to the desired angle, you can make a straight cut at that angle with just one hand. Simple. Depending on the task, the saw can be used either on or off the rail. So, a mitre saw isn't necessary to make mitre cuts.
The KSS 40 is the lightest and most compact cross-cutting saw available at just 2.6kg (without power pack). Plunge cuts can also be made with the KSS 40, and the greatest part is that the riving knife is never removed from the saw. The protected position of the spring Flippkeil mechanism is maintained until forward motion is detected. Shadow gap reduction are also feasible with the KSS 40's small form. A maximum blade distance of 13mm allows for tight placement to the workpiece. The systainer can even be used to store items that are practically unbreakable.
