The Mafell KSS 300 stands out from the crowd because it performs the functions of five distinct saws in one convenient package. When using a KSS 300 saw, the blade follows the edge of the guide rail regardless of the angling you choose. So that you don't have to mark the cutting line with a pencil and then follow it through the cut, there is an angle stop on the side of the track that may be used to adjust and establish the cutting line. Because the Mafell KSS 300 saw's depth of cut can be adjusted with a single lever and locked into place, every trench cut made with it will be exactly the same depth.
