The Mafell KSS 300 is a truly one-of-a-kind saw that combines five different saws into a single compact unit. It's a mitre saw, a compound mitre saw, a plunge saw, a panel saw, and a rip cut saw all rolled into one. The saw weighs only 3.2kg, which is a fraction of the weight of a traditional saw. The blade in the KSS 300 saw pivots around the track edge, so no matter what angle you set, the guide rail edge is your cut line. The cutting line can be adjusted and set using the angle stop on the side of the track, eliminating the need to mark the line with a pencil and then follow it through the cut. The Mafell KSS 300 saw is ideal for trenching cuts because the depth of cut can be controlled with a single lever and locked in place so that every cut has the same depth.
