Everbuild Everflex Fire Mate Intumescent Sealant - White (295ml) (FIRE)

This Everbuild fire rated sealant will repel flames and smoke for up to four hours if used to seal suitably designed joints which will help to limit damage prior to the arrival of fire fighting crews. The one part, acrylic based, emulsion is also intumescent which means once exposed to excessive heat the sealant will expand up to 150% it's original size to block any escape routes for flames and smoke to spread which in turn can help to starve the fires oxygen supply. Aside from being a great safety measure this sealant can also act as an excellent acoustic sealant when used to fill joints up to 50mm wide since it can reduce sounds by up to 24dB. Furthermore, since this sealant will be tack free in as little as 15 minutes and can be overpainted effortlessly its incredibly easy to apply for both trade pro's and DIY enthusiasts.

Non-slump formula which can be removed with basic tools and can be applied to most common substrates without a primer.
Certified by the EN15651 European Standard.
Perfect for sealing gaps in fire walls from cables or pipes to create a solid flame blockade to keep your family safe from fire and smoke damage.
Great as an internal perimeter pointing sealant for fire rated doors and window frames to prohibit flames from escaping containment.
